3. Account Registration and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use StackVPN. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

To use the Service, you must:

• Subscribe to one of our paid plans
• Maintain accurate account information

3.3 Account Security

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Pricing and Plans

StackVPN offers various subscription plans with different pricing and features. Current pricing is available at stackvpn.app. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payment is processed through our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy)
• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime through your account settings or by contacting support.

4.4 Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. To request a refund, contact us at support@stackvpn.app within 7 days of your initial purchase.

Refunds are not available for:

• Renewals (only new subscriptions)
• Partial billing periods
• Accounts terminated for Terms violations

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use StackVPN for lawful purposes, including:

• Protecting your privacy and security online
• Accessing geo-restricted content you have legal rights to access
• Securing your connection on public Wi-Fi networks
• General internet browsing and communications

6. Service Availability and Performance

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Specific connection speeds or bandwidth
• Access to specific server locations at all times
• Compatibility with all devices or networks

6.2 Maintenance and Downtime

We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of scheduled maintenance in advance.

6.3 Network Limitations

Some networks or services may block VPN traffic. We are not responsible for third-party network restrictions that prevent you from using the Service.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy and Logging Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• We do not log your browsing history, DNS queries, or traffic content
• We collect minimal operational data necessary to provide the Service
• We do not sell your data to third parties

8. Intellectual Property

StackVPN and all related trademarks, logos, service marks, and intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission.

8.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8.3 Open Source

StackVPN uses WireGuard, which is open source software. Our client configuration files and some components may be based on open source projects. We comply with all applicable open source licenses.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STACKVPN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9.3 Your Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

• A VPN does not make you completely anonymous online
• You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws when using the Service
• We are not responsible for your activities or content you access while using the Service
• You use the Service at your own risk

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period. You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

• You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Your payment fails or your account becomes delinquent
• We are required to do so by law
• We determine your use poses a security or legal risk

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
• Your VPN access will be revoked
• We may delete your account data after applicable retention periods
• These Terms remain in effect for any disputes or claims

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StackVPN, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws or regulations
• Your violation of third-party rights

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and StackVPN.
